About Us
The author of this site derives her purpose according to this verse from the book of Hebrews: "looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God". [12:2, NKJV translation]

I only have faith because Jesus gave it to me, and I put all my hope and trust in Him to bring me to His kingdom. In formation to be a third order discalced Carmelite, I value prayer to the utmost. My purpose in life is to seek and to glorify the Lord who saved me and continues to save me from my sins. He deserves all my love and adoration.
My dog I named Gloria, Latin for glory, because she is in formation herself - to be a service dog– in the service of the King of kings and Lord of lords. She will accompany me and spread God’s glory through her adorable creatureliness and my handing out the many Scriptures that tell of His glory and of our share in that glory through our rebirth in the Spirit.
As for the Latin:
God gifted me with a yen for Latin from the time of middle school. I have continued with it, as a Latin teacher and then aspiring poet. The thesaurus on the Latin Prayers page was the result of a need I perceived to have synonyms handy for writing Latin poetry. Now I focus on writing prayers in Latin, having seen the immediate and miraculous fruits when I was in Medjugorje.
