Welcome to Fit in the Word

This site exists for the glory of God. WE exist for the glory of God. And Jesus came to conform us to His glory and the glory of the Father.* We can give ourselves to the Lord and His glory now in how we read,  exercise, and pray.

Here you can read a blog from a Catholic in formation to be a third-order discalced Carmelite, with the focus of daily prayer and contemplation. With a focus on Scripture and the leading of the holy Spirit, the writing emerges as an encouragement.

Catholics and Christians should not do yoga, which bows to millions of Indian gods. We are to worship  the only one true God, and when we do yoga, we break the first commandment.** On this site is PraiseMoves, a Christian alternative to yoga, which affords physical benefits and spiritual as well, since Scripture is used throughout the workout.

The enemy hates Latin!  You have the opportunity to express your prayers in Latin, with the guidance of a Latin teacher.

  • NKJV translation: “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone. For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.”

  • ** Psalm 81: 9, 10a: “There shall be no foreign God among you; Nor shall you worship any alien god. I am the Lord your God."d.”
